2018: What a year for podcasts, everyone. In pulling together our end of the year podcast retrospective, I saw a few things pop up as I looked at the shows we featured in Explore over the course of this year.
When I look back at the hundreds of shows and thousands of episodes I heard this year, the standouts were the ones that spoke directly to new audiences, that looked at an aspect of the world differently, or that took me out of this one completely.
With a Podcard, we make it easy to gift podcasts to everyone on your list this year: they're free, fun, and spark conversations at holiday parties and around the dinner table.
Together, Podchaser and RadioPublic have partnered to make it extremely simple to create, share, and then listen to hand-curated podcast lists.
Young adult books may be marketed to teens, but they're enjoyed by readers young and not-so-young. Revisit your best-loved reads and discover new titles from fellow bookworms who've turned their passion into podcasts.
If you're a bookworm looking for something to do when you're nose isn't in between pages, check out these podcasts that are all about literature. With coverage spanning from William Shakespeare to Zadie Smith and everyone in between, these shows are sure to captivate your literary mind.
Whether you're an environmentalist curious about sustainable agriculture, a small-time farmer with questions about keeping your business viable, or simply interested in how your food's journey from farm (or factory) to your plate, these podcasts on farming and agriculture will entertain and enlighten you.
